A thoroughly wet miserable day where I did nothing except lie on the sofa and read. Eventually, in the afternoon the rain stopped and I went out to our local pharmacy to buy a nasal spray and found out that the pharmacist at the health centre  can give me a prescription for antibiotics so maybe I'll go there in a day or two if the nasal spray doesn't help. Afterwards I drove up towards Heatherhall woods to photograph a tree in full autumn colour at the bridge over the Eden.
