The Mouse and the Gruffalo

A new post box topper has appeared on the box near the junction of Fairway Road with Forest Street in Shepshed. It has an autumnal theme - see the leaves - and features the Gruffalo and the Mouse from the story by Julia Donaldson.

For those not in the know, the mouse invents the gruffalo  to prevent his being eaten by the Fox. Lovely to see this. I hope it gets well noticed.

Basil and I accompanied Cecily to the hairdressers at midday. I feel smarter now and am going to look up some recommended hair colour. oh look, the sun is shining on the trees outside...
