On Friday morning, a construction worker fell about five metres deep while dismantling an Oktoberfest ride. He was seriously injured in the process.
 
His colleagues observed the accident and immediately dialled the emergency number 112. The emergency services of the fire brigade who arrived shortly afterwards began with the initial care of the 50-year-old construction worker. The emergency medical and ambulance team intensified the previous measures. Already during care, the forces realised that the patient's health was deteriorating. That's why they quickly transported the 50-year-old to the shock room of a Munich clinic.
 
The current state of health of the man as well as the cause of the accident are currently unknown. The police have started the investigation.

There were at least three rollercoasters at the Oktoberfest. When I observed this rollercoaster being pulled apart just before their lunch break, everything seemed relatively calm. So the incident may have been on one of the others.
