Wound up in Wexford

Delivery

Before 0900 this morning, a large lorry arrived, with 4 bags of mulch.  The driver expertly deposited them where we asked.  Blip sorted.

T and D (garden helper and house cleaner) didn't come today.  Their youngest child has ongoing health problems, and she's back in hospital.  So after breakfast, we decided that we should take advantage of the dry weather and cut the lawn that Husky can't reach.  It had got ridiculously long, and was very damp - took quite a while because the mower kept clagging up.

Later today, we also took delivery of a polytunnel in kit form.

I've bound the Crazy quilt and laid it on the spare bed as a decorative feature - now to clear the decks and decide on what to finish next - probably the unfinished.quilt left by mum.  I'm still rather daunted by it, but my recent experience with "quilt as you go" has given me some ideas on how to finish it.
