Day 1 of Year 6

I am very cheered with the messages for yesterday’s entry  which marked five years. Ingeborg educated me by naming this anniversary as a Lustrum.

Today’s entry features two Chinese porcelain rabbits, a painting of a street in San Juan and a crown and sceptre which belonged to Pat’s mother Mary.

After yesterday’s deluge the waters have now disappeared. The Sainsbury’s delivery driver did say that many fields were still underwater.

I was shocked to learn that Perth had been flooded because someone had not shut one of the flood barrier gates!

I understand that the River Tay at Perth has reached a record level.

Flood water has a devastating effect on buildings that have been flooded.

It is better to take precautions to property where flooding is possible
