Exhaust-ed!

Hubby and I went over to Littlehampton this morning to get the exhaust replaced on the car. While it was being done we went for a walk through this covered arcade (with various shops including two that sell flowers) and along the road that runs from it towards the boating lake. My husband had two holidays as a child at a B&B in this road and wanted to see it again (he has rarely been with me to Littlehampton). There is still a B&B in the road in about the position that he remembers it being, so we guess it's the same place. There used to be an open area opposite it, but there are now some not very nice 70's terraced houses along there.

We walked back to the shops and had a coffee in Costa, then picked up a few bits of shopping. The car was ready in an hour so we headed back home in the quite heavy rain to eat a lunch cooked by our son. Not bothering to go out again today as the weather is just awful, so wet and windy. It's given me a chance to watch a good tennis match with Lleyton Hewitt at Queen's, also half of Andy Murray's match (they've left the court due to rain). So it's all good! :-)
