SweetArt Day 2

(17/10/23)

No one emerged early today. We all needed a lie-in. I made the morning cup of tea, and then we planned the day. One of the things we did yesterday in the time we were home was apply for a visa for G to visit Pakistan. Today, we had a notification informing us that two documents were missing, so I uploaded them right away.

The day began with a drive to Al Seef, where we parked and walked to the Arabian Tea House. We shared an Egyptian breakfast, which we all loved, and then walked back to the car, buying some souvenirs along the way.

We went on to Wafi, where SweetArt sat under the Icons strapline. (We put all our visitors through this!). Having enjoyed a cold coffee, we had a quick look in Carrefour. Sweetart has bought us a dining table and chairs set for the balcony! :))

Out again, this time to the Gold Souk. It is still hot, so rather than take an abra across the Creek, we drove there. Finding a place to park the car proved a challenge, but we've now sussed it out. SweetArt had a few things to get done, so G & I kept ourselves busy looking at the new designs being created in gold.

We had to finish quickly to race across town to pick Diane up. We enjoyed two (free) cocktails, sitting outside on their stools overlooking the Creek. It was fantastic.

There isn't any pink in my blips today, but could you please spare ten seconds and click here to help towards free mammograms? Thank you.
