DIG, DIG, DIG, DIG, DIGGER - BCAM 2023 - DAY 22

Hello Lovely Blippers,

You didn't really think we would miss a week did you?  This may not be Silly Saturday, but for us it's Silly Sunday!

We admit we were a bit miffed yesterday to realise that Mr and Mrs. HCB were going out without us, so between us we hatched a cunning plan.

We kept looking out of the window, and when we realised that Mike and Lynn next door were out of the way, and the digger was left in their garden, we decided we wanted to have a go.  In fact, some of us have always wanted to have a go on a digger and this was the perfect opportunity.  The fellas who were doing the work were off for the weekend, Mike and Lynn were nowhere to be seen and Mr. and Mrs. HCB had just got back from church.

Now was the perfect time to act!  We crept into next door's garden and et voilà as they say in France - here we are!  However, we hadn't reckoned with "the Lovely Lynn" suddenly appearing and showing her face!  Well, we could hardly do this without her being in one of the shots, so persuaded her to get behind the digger - but you can't have a woman driving one can you?   Can you see her smiling face?  Their garden is like a quagmire, but we had such fun and fortunately no-one fell into the mud.

You must admit we look good all on the digger - and we had a great time.  You can see that Reeth was at the front looking pretty in pink and we tied a pink bow and ribbon across the front of the digger.  This is the perfect time to tell you about clicking this LINK so that those who cannot afford to pay for a mammogram may have a free one.  Thank you again for being such wonderful Blippers and clicking so much - I'm sure that people running the site are thrilled too.

So the moral of this story is "Never underestimate the determination of a gang, especially the HCBs' Silly Saturday Gang!"  We know that dear Admirer would love to know that we had such fun and we're sure she would have giggled.  We had to be very careful not to fall into the mud because it would have been very awkward having to explain that we had climbed up onto the digger, but it all went well and there were no accidents and the sun was shining for us too.

We did start to sing "Mud, Mud, Glorious Mud" but Lynn said we were making too much noise on a Sunday and the neighbours might start complaining!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and stay safe, warm and dry.

Love from
The Silly Saturday Sunday Gang and Lynn xxx
