Marjorie's ramblings

By walkingMarj

Autumn continues

There is an enormous holy tree beside the village hall where we have our village choir. The tenors can see it swaying up in the breeze.

It really is magnificent.

We rehearsed hard this afternoon and had a very good time.

This morning I was a hairdresser, washing, cutting and setting Mum’s hair.

Then the lovely orthopaedic surgeon phoned to ask how the diagnostic hip injection had gone. As you know, to my surprise, it worked. It’s worn off now.

The outcome is that I can have a hip replacement and I’m on the list. Quite how I will manage with 6 weeks of no driving, or to push Mum’s wheelchair while I’m on crutches, is yet to be worked out!

It will be lovely to get rid of the pain.
