Lots of bags for Teddies

Not good news for some parts of the U.K. re storms. We had lots of rain in the night but not too much wind. 
This morning it was not raining, actually some sun for a while.

After a swim and going to an Aqua class I decided to spend some time sewing as by then it was drizzling and miserable outside. The car park had about 20 spaces where if you parked you would get very wet feet getting in an out of the car as several inches of water!

These are part of a batch of 30 bags I have made for the charity “Teddies for Tragedies” . Lots of people seem happy to make the teddies but less people like making the bags. I have lots of old fabric scraps and also made some from old curtains and a couple of old shirts. Also it takes ages to make one teddy but I made 10 bags just today! The Teddies are sent to places in the world where the children have very few toys and need something of their own….hence they are put in a bag for the children to look after. Maybe some will go to Gaza.
