Spot the birdy...

We had a leisurely breakfast with John and Norma before they headed off into the sunshine.  

Since it was such a lovely day we decided to go for a short drive to take in some views.  I suggested a drive through the Sma' Glen so we headed to Crieff only to encounter a diversion just before the bridge over the river Earn that took us along to Comrie then back along to Crieff.  Bit of a detour but not a problem as the scenery is beautiful in that direction too.

The Sma' Glen was looking beautiful in the sunshine (although my blip was taken as we headed towards the Sma' Glen :-) If I didn't have the discomfort in my side, which the movement of the car was aggravating,  I would have suggested continuing to Aberfeldy but we turned at Amulree and headed back.  Turned off before Crieff to avoid the detour and came home the backroads, which also looked lovely in the sunshine.

Stopped at a local deli to pick up lunch then spent an hour in the studio having a tidy up.  The rest of the day has been a snooze fest.
