Remembrance Sunday

We were lucky this morning as although it was dull and chilly it was dry for our Act of Remembrance service at the village War Memorial.
As for the past few years my son ( top right)  has read out the list of dead named on the memorial from both 20th century world wars.  He is wearing his medals for: his time in the military and service in Afghanistan.

After we had a service in our church, joined by our friends from across the road - the Cong’s. ( We take it in turns to hold this service.)

You can see some of the decorations in the church in the compilation. As usual our flower ladies have done a wonderful job.
