These are apparently known as Sea Potatoes, a type of urchin. We found these on the beach on Saturday, I liked them, and carefully wrapped I've managed to get them home without mishap, and they're sitting in one of Dad's little dishes.

Nicky and I were packed early this morning and we managed to leave at about 8.45am. It's just over 3 hours to my house, but Nicky's onward drive is about the same again, so she came into mine for a cuppa, ate her sandwiches and set off.

It's been a lovely weekend, always good to see my siblings :-)
