Gum Blossoms

There are box gums in our street and one large one is outside my house.   As you can see, they are in full blossom and the lorikeets just love them.  At sunrise they are out screeching and carrying on.   Honestly, they have no manners.

Drumming was good this morning.  We spent the whole lesson just learning the introduction to a rhythm we have been doing.  Then it was off to the hardware store to buy some seedlings, a salad mix, coriander, rocket, sweet basil and radiccio.  The sorts of greens and herbs that will get me through the Summer.  You can never have too much of sweet basil and my tomatoes are not far off picking the first crop.  They are all in and mulched and rain is forecast next week so that should settle them.
