Old Gas Works

This complex is not far from our place. It is in prime real estate but the ground has been contaminated and will cost a lot to clean up. The council recently asked for ideas as to what to do with the site. My idea was to remove the unneeded buildings that aren’t heritage, dump lots more soil and create a green space or botanic garden. 

Trisharooni likes this building. It was taken while driving past in the car. We had been out to Perthville to pick up our trailer for some planned chopping back in the garden. We get vouchers for green and mixed waste at the local refuse centre - they are given out for free (if we pay our rates). After the vouchers are used there is a charge to dump things. 

We had a big clean up this morning. Both of us worked hard for an hour and a half.
