My topsy-turvy life

Can we fix it?

Deb and me got to go over to see progress on the new phlebotomy room in Plas Gororau. Being an active building site still, we had to look special in high-vis jackets and hard hats. Good to see how far the project has developed but tinged with a bit of envy as the original plan was for us to have a much bigger area with 10 chairs rather than the 3 we have now. I'd even proposed to move the lab over there but it wasn't to be.

There was also the horrific news coming through this afternoon of 4 young lads, aged 16 and 17, from Shrewsbury going missing in North Wales near Porthmadog. Early afternoon the police found the car and announced later on that they had also found 4 bodies. It's hit home even more because one of the lads was the son of the lady who made our wedding cakes and it was her social media post first thing this morning that made me aware of them being missing. I can't imagine what their families are going through.
