Blustery bed linen

As the sole healthy resident in our flat, today I have been responsible for all duties domestic, including washing, shopping, cooking, and caring for the sick. The sunny, blustery weather was perfect for drying our bed linen in the back garden (blipped).

As far as the patients are concerned, Mr hazelh managed to get up and dressed mid-morning, but he still feels rather ill. Mummy hazelh only emerged for a short while at supper time to join us for a bite to eat. My middle sister, who seems to be the source of this lurgy, reports that she was ill for four days. This means that my two flatmates won't be 100% until Sunday.

The big news of the day concerns our neighbours. The good news is that the family that bought the flat upstairs in December 2022 have finally moved in, so the building work is over - hurrah! The bad news is that another neighbour has submitted a planning application that is not to our liking. (The last version was approved in 2015. Fortunately he didn't act on it at the time, but this prior approval may well set a precedent for the latest iteration of the nasty plans.)

Exercise today: 7k run; walking (22,220 steps including run).
