Easedale Tarn, Grasmere

There must be easier ways to spend a Saturday morning :)

I’ve added a few other photos in extras including more reflections at the tarn. The east facing slopes really were orange in the early light as I walked up from the valley.

The cars were white with frost when I left home so I decided I could walk to the bus stop in the same time as it would take to defrost the car windows. There were small patches of ice on the path to the tarn but were easily avoided. Back in Grasmere I bought a few groceries in the Co-op and tried the card that the bank refused to accept for yesterday’s online purchase. It worked.
