Miserable gull

Can birds look fed up? I think this black headed gull looks that way. No wonder on such a cold morning. 

We took the car up to the university then walked round the loch. The campus grounds would have been glorious yesterday in the sunshine but there was none of that today. It's dry and still but so grey. The gull was perching on this pole with another one just behind landing on the water. 

Cameraman went shopping for some provisions and I walked back with Flora. Saw a pair of bullfinch but was too slow with the camera. 

Yesterday was an interesting day though there was an awful lot of sitting about. Travel went well and Edinburgh was sparkling in the sunshine. I'd have liked to have had a better walk than I managed but there will be other chances.
