Once upon a time...

... across the fields and beyond the railway line, there was a cosy farm house. It was called Eager Farm.  Blippa liked to think that it was because its occupants were very keen farmers. She had driven past the building many times. Even close-up it looked attractive. On the grass verge outside the farmhouse gate were five wheelbarrows. In the summer these were filled with colourful flowers. Today, though, gazing from too far away to see, Blippa knew they would be filled only with frost. Something about the scene, on this chilly morning, the first of December, reminded her of story book illustrations from her childhood.          (Not to be continued! ;-))

Feel so lucky to have this wonderful, frost-enhanced view to enjoy every day. Another very cold day, with the frost staying in all the spots the sun did not hit directly.

Update on my shoulder-neck pain: it's now largely a dull ache, though I cannot turn my head much beyond straight ahead without its hurting.

The first of my little photo-books arrived today. If sitting with my head at an angle fiddling with photos helped trigger the pain, it was worth it. Go Blurb; they made a nice job of it.
