When l went out to the bin l noticed this garden tray filled with ice and leaves, not an intentional outcome but a pleasing image.

Village is preparing for the Christmas lights switch on later this afternoon so all sorts of activities going on . Main Street is closed until early evening.
I’ve put my outdoor lights up, nothing spectacular : copied an idea l saw recently at a garden centre, very quick and easy to assemble.

Staying in for most of the day and catching up on a few outstanding tasks.
Listening to music on Spotify, just got my listening statistics for the year, l've chosen 30 different music genres, 774 different artists and 1,371 different songs.

Will be collecting Kitty from the train this evening, after her full day at ballet in Leeds  We are then driving over to Skipton where l will sleep tonight, can’t call it baby sitting anymore. Rebecca and Mike are in Manchester overnight, two oldest granddaughters not at home. So it’s just Kitty, Ronnie and me. Pizzas on the menu ( not for Ronnie) while we watch Strictly.
