Santa Specials

Really enjoyed seeing Grayson Perry last night.
The theme of the evening was Identity and he really explored the subject in his own unique way by being challenging, provoking, funny and sensitive.

After a lay in this morning and poached eggs for breakfast Tim gave Adele and me a lift into Hebden Bridge.
Went to look at the Orla Kiely rugs we have been admiring for a while, so tempting but we refrained from purchasing, nevertheless l will measure up my floor space.
Adele bought some jeans and l bought some cheese, we went for coffee and scones then l caught the bus to start my journey home after we made plans for watching the Strictly final together.
As the bus went through Haworth l saw the two trains being prepared for the Santa Specials on Sunday, l know one blipper who will be taking her two granddaughters on it.
Quick changeover at Keighley, just enough time to buy a hairband with stuck on Christmas bauble for our festive ballet session on Thursday.

Got home and as l had a lovely ( but small ) piece of cheese and a freshly made baton of bread that Tim had made this morning it seemed only right to make a pan of French onion soup for my evening meal.
