Snow Bauble

The lights switch on went well in the village last night and when l picked Kitty up from the station we had a little drive round to look at them, every year there are more. We pay for the lights ourselves and volunteers put them up.

We then went over to Skipton in time for Stictly, poor Nigel , what a way to leave the contest. Think the best solution was arrived at so the semi final next week will be exciting.

Snowing as we went to bed and a thick covering this morning so poor Ronnie didn’t get a walk and had to make do with the garden.
Becky and Mike got home early afternoon, she was due to go into school this afternoon to put the stage up for the nativity but her headteacher had managed it on his own. She was so pleased because she had been dancing last night and clocked up 40,000 steps.

l packed my things to come home as it had snowed overnight and l wanted to get home before it got dark. I’ve a busy week ahead and we made a few arrangements concerning them.
Called at Booths for something for my dinner then straight home. I’d left the heating on low so the house was lovely and wam to come back to.
Looked in my back garden and saw the baubles l hung on the shrubs yesterday still had some snow on them even though the snow was thawing fast.

We had a lot of these outdoor baubles that Mr P used to hang on the Rowan tree in the front garden , we had fairy lights on it too.
We needed a ladder to put them up and it was a two person job so obviously l don’t do that anymore.
