In The Soup

Was a a good feeling to know l didn’t have to out today, so had a lay in .
Cold and miserable outside so l’m layered up: vest , thermals etc but don’t think that would make a good photograph for the Mono Monday challenge.
Got the slow cooker on simmering away, evening meals sorted for tonight and tomorrow. Had two fat leeks in the fridge and a potato that was destined to be jacketed, so leek and potato soup for lunch.
While l was slicing the first leek l thought about cutting thesecond  one lengthwise so here are my layers for the challenge.
