Above And Beyond...

Frosty Field

The temperature dipped to -4C last night in normal sunny Goodrich in the Wye Valley (Herefordshire, UK) and even much colder in other places. Early this morning, looking out the rear living room window over our meadow field, the trees were covered in a layer of frost that seemed to emphasise their autumnal colours.

Despite a visit to nearby Monmouth for shopping, it's the only photograph I took all day as oldest son James arrived early for the 3pm kick-off of Southampton v Cardiff City FC. We were awful and lucky not to have lost by more than 2-0 that was the final score. Southampton were impressive!
