(Almost) Forbidden

Mr H (aged 9) has discovered Minecraft on Granny S' iPad. He and Young L (aged 5) spend lots of time on her iPad and iPhone playing this game.

More recently Mr H has found that YouTube has demonstration videos for the game and, despite active discouragement, he likes to watch these repeatedly. An activity of which S disapproves (she would rather he played the game than be a passive watcher), although she does not (yet) forbid it.

Here is a photo (over his shoulder) of Mr H watching one of the YouTube videos. He "earned" this indulgence through successfully completing his Mathletics level for today. As tsuken reports about my two Sydney based grandchildren, mathletics is a great way to develop mathematical skills in a non threatening way.

This is a response to this week's challenge word; forbidden.
