It’s beginning to look a lot like… Yep! Snow fell throughout the night through most of this morning. Maybe 6” but very wet • Without further delay, here’s the next movie on the AV Club’s Top 25 Holiday Films: It Happened On 5th Avenue, 1947; an American comedy directed by Roy Del Ruth, starring Victor Moore, Don Defore, Charlie Ruggles and Gale Storm. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Story, losing to another Christmas-themed story, Miracle On 34th Street • We watched this movie for the first time last December and found the premise to be very funny, and heartwarming • A busy but relaxing day, shoveling, puzzling and more shoveling :) • Ho-Ho-Ho!
