I cooked veggies to accompany Mum's liver & bacon meal, vacuumed, cleaned the hob, removing the control knobs. Yiks! Don't think I've ever removed them before. What's come over me .................
Grabbed a few bits from the Coop, nipped into the doctors surgery. Hubby has picked up a prescription for antibiotics which he was'nt told he needed, so questions. All time consuming. Nothing mentioned in his notes so none the wiser until he gets a SMS from the surgery.
Haircut day,  but first a very soggy bimble around the heath with Indie. We must have had torrential overnight rain as it's running off the heath onto the road into the village. I actually enjoy walking in the rain when kitted out appropriately it's the peeling off & drying waterproofs on return that's a fag. 
Mum has misplaced her shoes so we spend 10 mins searching high & low for them. Found eventually under the coffee table in the front room. Tracey arrived to cut our hair, Mum & I both couiffured, £15  each. So easy & convenient.
Experimental dinner tonight - Sunblush tomato & olive vegan paella which which will obviously be tweaked. Sunblush toms subbed with a jar of my own preserved cherry toms, and lamb chops plonked on top. It should work.
Masterchef The Professionals getting down to the nitty gritty now, the final 3 chefs are off to Denmark tonight, enjoyable viewing when Gregg Wallace not in attendance.
