Houseleek ( Sempervivum sp )

We have a period between now and Christmas with no guests in the Lodge.  Over Christmas, we have a regular family in there.  They used to book as soon as they got home for the next Christmas.  On year they were beaten to the booking.   They have had Christmas 2024 booked for several weeks now.

We were in no rush sorting out after the guests as we have decorations to put up and one or two little jobs to do.  As is becoming usual it was pouring down.  The last guests had kindly emptied the bins so no "walk run in the rain to the bins shot".  Instead, I was content with a quick shot of one of the Houseleeks on the "rockery" under the verandah.
