Fa La La La La....

Christmas Concert time!  Feeling better today, thankfully, as my friend Noreen of canceled-plans-fame, had purchased our tickets ages ago and I sure did not want to be the one who had to cancel! No problem... I felt good, I went and we had a great time. (extra)

The performers are a well-known family band from Sydney Mines, Cape Breton island and are often referred to as Canada's Celtic ambassadors. Attending one of their concerts is a fun time - with a kitchen-party feel to it - lots of toe-tapping, hand clapping and singing along... 

The evening with Noreen came with the usual glitches that accompany her wherever she goes.. This time? Parking meters that baffle, a dinner reservation that wasn't..( but luckily there was one available table for two) and pouring rain upon leaving the theatre..totally unexpected rain, not just by us, but by the unprepared umbrella-less masses.. Still, nothing could dampen the evening..all that great down-home music had everyone upbeat and in the Christmas spirit...Off we all went to our cars, drenched, but with a smile on our faces!
