Sunshine and shadows

It was wonderful to wake up this morning to the sun shining from a clear blue sky. R was out running errands this morning, while I was at home doing my Duolingo, and doing some final bits of Christmas decorations.
In the mid-afternoon we got out for some exercise, hiking at Rowe Woods. I’ve put a few of the highlights in my collage, the burnt orange leaves of the beech trees, wonderful reflections in the stream and long shadows cast by the late afternoon sun.
