Cycle path

We had the brief appearance today of that unfamiliar yellow ball in the sky, and the recurrence of colour, at least briefly. When I cycled in this morning, water was streaming down Leith Walk. It had obviously not long stopped raining. It started again around late morning, but it managed to hold off for most of the afternoon when I had to trek over to some strange lecture theatre in George Square where we held our School meeting. I polished that off in record time - about 75 minutes - giving us more time to enjoy mulled wine and mince pies in the staff room.

That's my penultimate day in the office before we enjoy more than three weeks in the north. Cannot wait.
