Lighting up time

I had an appointment for my second Shingles jab late afternoon so decided to walk up to the surgery and have a look at the houses nearby that have been decorated for Christmas.  We live in a 'dark skies' area so as part of the planning permission for our small development no street lights were allowed.  It's lovely not having artificial light and really being able to see the sky at night in all its glory; it means that if you go out at night you need to take a torch with you, which I quite like.

This house is hardly contributing to the dark skies idea but I think it's been quite well done.
