Stormy Sky

It's been a wild, wet and windy day, with gales and plenty of showers lashing the windows. This afternoon, we saw blue sky for a precious half hour or so, before the dark rain clouds drew in again. 

We planned our meals and went shopping for Christmas today, just to avoid the big rush before all shops will close for three days. I can't imagine having to go tomorrow or on Saturday - there might be carnage. Already the supermarket was very crowded, the car park almost full, and the shelves almost empty of Christmas goodies.
