Skew-Whiff

For some reason this reminds me of Father Christmas. I'm a victim of cultural conditioning. I was almost another sort victim. I didn't realise until too late that the cone was accompanied by a warning sign that was flat on the ground under the snow. As I took this shot I went for a skate!

The weather has been bad all day, but with sleety rain rather than snow. The ground is covered with deep slush. There have been dramatic snowfalls further south. We could still get some.
