Blown away

Thanks for the sympathy for how I felt after my shingles jab; happily, it was a 24 hour thing and after a good sleep I felt a lot better today.

This morning we had our postponed walk with Bom, from Morston to Blakeney and back along the coastal path.  A lovely walk but very windy across the marshes; it was fine on the way out but walking into the wind on the way back was hard work.  We stopped at the Blakeney Hotel where Bom kindly treated us to coffee while we sat and relaxed in the lounge.  It was an enjoyable walk with good company, and good to blow the cobwebs away!

Blakeney was quiet but the preparations were going on in the hotel for Christmas when it will, no doubt, be very busy.  This boat was one of the few at the quayside but probably won't be back in use for a while.  I've added an extra of some rather large decorations in the lounge of the hotel; for orientation, the wooden posts you can see at the left of that shot are the same ones behind the boat in the main shot.
