A year ago today

Today has been a day of reflection, it being my dear Mum’s first anniversary.  It hit me much harder than I had expected.  She is sadly missed.  

I took a photo of a beautiful rose in the garden this morning.  This evening we went down to the Victoria Lounge Bar and had a gin and tonic in Mum’s memory.  It was her favourite tipple.

I am way behind still, but will catch up with all things Blip as soon as I can.
