Road block

Had picked Ru up from his summer job at the local community cafe and were on our way home when we encountered 2 of the farm* cats and a kitten in the middle of the road.

The two adults seemed to be trying to get this little one to cross the road but he wasn't very keen. Ru got out to see if he could shoo them all across but only the adults budged, although not far - just to the other side of the fence where they could watch us. Eventually he got it to move with a bit of persuasion but it seemed to have something wrong with it's eye so we think it may have been disorientated by the expanse of road. As we drove of it's mother went back to it and they all vanished into the long grass.

*I say farm cats but really they are feral and not very keen on human company.
