Arizona Dreamin’

Thanks for the love and support you showed towards me on my 13th year blip anniversary. I will try to thank everyone. My computer picked a lousy day to overheat.

I needed to take a break for a couple of days. I was really stressed out leading up to it. I don’t feel the pressure to force a post everyday…at least not at the moment.

I was invited to join almost 40 people for a ham and tamale dinner at Moqah, my favorite lunch spot. Francisco and his family invited people who are usually alone and didn’t have anyone with whom to celebrate Christmas. Besides the huge dinner, there were two choices of cake, gifts for everyone to unwrap, a coffee cup and a $5 gift certificate. There was also live music. I was sitting in the middle of the long table so this photo is only the people seated to my left. Francisco and his family were beaming with pride that they were able to do this for so many people. A wonderful act of kindness.

I asked my wife what she wanted for Christmas. She said, “Nothing would make me happier than a diamond necklace.“
So I bought her nothing.
