Boxing Day

Today's weather was decent so we decided to do the walk we were planning to do with family tomorrow. It was a lovely jaunt up and over and down and round back to the pub, perfect for chatting and dog running. 
So, box ticked. 

However. Now Storm Gerrit is on its way, the weather forecast is dreadful and I'm not sure I even want family out on the roads tomorrow, let alone doing a walk. We'll have to see what it's like first thing. 

Going through Ashbourne we encountered the Boxing Day meet for Riding the Marches which explained the traffic queues further back. Lots of people out looking cheerful. 

Meanwhile, the sheep in the valley graze on and the beer was more than fine when tested ;-)
