Boxing Day

We finally got the Christmas visitors we’d planned for. Now that I got a negative COVID test, people arrived just after 2pm and we had a lovely afternoon. Lunch was a mix of ‘Christmas Dinner’ part two and a buffet.  We opened presents  and we had a fun afternoon trying the magic tricks that J brought and added to the party bags. I played along and pretended not to know how any of the tricks were done (which was a little bit true in some cases) and it greatly amused everybody. We got to eat leftovers, opened the Christmas pudding and I had a turkey sandwich at the end of the day.  There were Christmas PJs at the end of the day. We laughed along to a couple of shows fearing Two Ronnie’s sketches.  It was a lovely way to spend Boxing Day.
