Wet Wet Wet

Compared to the actual floods around us this is not exactly spectacular, but considering that it’s on a slope it shows just how sodden the ground is which lead to our neighbours being flooded on Tuesday.  Extrapolating to the land throughout Lincolnshire and surrounding counties plus all the land that has been built on in recent years, it is hardly any wonder that we are seeing record flooding.

Shot taken just before sunrise with the morning rush-hour under way.  We have a couple of measured marker points on the road and sometimes time the cars.  The vast majority of traffic travels at about fifty to fifty-five miles an hour, and at a two to three second gap.  Just shows that the major problems are caused by the minority of drivers.

Blipping early as we have decided to binge  watch “Mr Bates vs The Post Office” in the day while we are awake and in the right mood.
