Wild Snowdrops

This clump of snowdrops is growing on an embankment in the old A1 lay-by just north of our village….they always seem to show early as it is very sheltered there. There are hundreds of them through already. These ones are at about head height so I was able to photograph them standing up, and using the 300mm lens, I didn’t need to get too close, thus no danger of trampling on other shoots!!
