Comfort blanket

I had actually had a good day at work today and got loads of things cleared before a long weekend.

Unfortunately, the large case I had been trying to retain decided to leave it until 5pm before telling me that they were going elsewhere, so it was a rather rubbish way to finish up! 

Fortunately though, cuddles and good company were awaiting nearby and helped me segue from disappointment into getting my head back into the panto game.

It was a markedly different audience tonight, who were far more engaged and vocal, which gave us the energy to power through and have some fun! 

Only three more performances remain and then I can finally put this script away!
