Outlander

This morning we drove to South Queensferry to join about 20 people for a walk organised by AndrewDBurns, although not everyone there was a Blipper.

We walked under the new Forth road bridge, round Hopetoun House, and almost to Blackness castle. Never having visited it, A and I, and another member of the group, split off and decided on an end-to-end walk to Bo'ness.

The castle was interesting to see, as it's old but not a ruin. I also learned that it's an important location in "Outlander".

Django had a good day, as there were lots of people to give him attention - and throw sticks for him - although he was very serious at doubling back to make sure all of his flock got through each gate.

It took longer than we'd expected to get to Bo'ness, and bus-train-bus to return 17km back to the car is taking ages, partly due to stopping for coffee and cakes in Linlithgow.
