Garden

No chance of a countryside walk today. Domestic duties all morning, then we visited the village Open Gardens event this afternoon in a stiff breeze and little flurries of rain. We didn't enter our garden despite doing lots of work on it over the last couple of months as we felt that (a) we are too new to the village, (b) it is really tiny and (c) we needed to check out standards and size up the 'opposition'. We saw some lovely gardens, but on arriving back in our little patch we wished we'd entered. I took a few photos to record the current state and resolved to enter next time.
