At the Beach…..

Ah…. Kaiteriteri. One of my happy places. 8.20pm and families are out playing in the late evening light. Low tide and a cloudy sky, muggy temperatures. I arrived late afternoon. Margaret had left Blenheim before 10.am and had already settled into the caravan. Hannah and Alex drove over the hill from Marahau at 6.30pm. They brought two camp beds in their van and erected our Gazebo. That’s large and sits close to the caravan awning . It is a lifesaver on very hot days providing welcome shade. . It is so good to finally get here. Such a special place.
