Brancaster beach

Thank you so much for the lovely comments and hearts on yesterday's image, the conditions were lovely and I am pleased you liked the result.

We decided to go for a walk directly after breakfast, so we were on the beach just after 9am and boy was it chilly! That cold breeze off the North Sea sure gets into your bones, but as soon as you step off the beach it feels (slightly) warmer. It is Xena's happy place, she loved chasing after her ball on the soft sand, as can be seen in the extra. It was only partly sunny early this morning, but by lunch time it was another beautiful sunny day.

Back at the house we packed up and quickly cleaned. The house is small so it does not take long and despite having the use of a cleaning service there I prefer to do it myself. I washed towels etc and then we went out to The White Horse for lunch. It is a very popular spot and in warmer months you can never get a booking there, but today, although I had pre-booked, it was busy but not overly so. I had sole which was delicious while Gavin had a burger.

We left by 3pm and had a very easy drive home, no traffic and were back home by 6.10pm. It was a very enjoyable weekend. Tommy was pleased to see us, he did not join us this weekend as he went to a 21st party in London last night.
