A short walk in the Pyrenees

S set off today for his annual Pyrenean challenge, walking the GR11 in Spain. Let's hope his knees hold out and there isn't too much snow (but note the ice axe, just in case). Next stop, Candanchu (he did his first stage last year and that's where he got to).

This afternoon I went to the marble festival in Caunes again; the festival in itself wasn't that interesting, but I had arranged to meet up with J and M, who have a house in Caunes. We spent a laid-back afternoon strolling, chatting, and admiring the fabulous view from their terrace, before walking back into town for the communal meal.
