They're back!

I heard some wonderful birdsong in the garden this afternoon. I opened my Merlin app and the first thing that lit up was "Long-tailed tit", but I couldn't see any anywhere. Sure enough, about half an hour later, a pair of long-tailed tits were to be found busily pecking away at the fat balls, the first time I've seen any for months.

Not only that, but the redwings are now definitely back en masse too, and the ancient holly tree has a lot less red berries on it than it did this morning.
